Surviving in Lockdown
Well? What do we do now? Social distancing, gyms closed, how am I going to train?
Well the answer is simple. Adapt!
Whilst we all love the sociability of the gym, the variety of equipment, and the free hot water for a shower afterwards, we don’t need a gym to stay fit.
I don’t want to detract from the above benefits because I do love all of those justifications to fork out a monthly subscription for the use of their facilities, but in the current situation this is not an option.
So how do we adapt?
The easiest way is to use the weight you have at hand all the time, your body! Bodyweight training is a great way to keep healthy and active. If used correctly it is also a great replacement for the weights in the gym.
We’ve been streaming Live workouts on BBfit Facebook page at midday on weekdays to help keep everyone active.

These have been great to keep people active, healthy and having a little “virtual” social interaction whilst on lockdown.
Remember, staying active during these stressful and difficult times could the difference between coping or not.
